Project Manager

Voyager Technologies is an innovative space, defense, and national security technology company developing mission-critical solutions from ground to space. The Project Manager will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers while managing budgets, schedules, proposals, risks, deliverables, and customer interfaces for lunar technology and mission programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft
• Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs
• Contribute to programmatic topics such as schedules, resourcing, risks, and budgets estimations
• Communicate with other engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges
• Build out bottoms up estimates, including bill of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates
• Occasionally participate in visits and technical interchange meetings with customers, supply chain, and partner organizations
• Participate in cross functional team meetings to ensure project schedules and budgets comply with mission and business needs and company technology roadmap
• Run internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, performing project management over budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer interfacing

Requirements:

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or similar related discipline plus 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience. Relevant advanced degree will be considered in lieu of equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning
• Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations
• Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes
• Strong understanding of the launch, space, and lunar environments
• Understanding of full development lifecycle of large complex aerospace systems
• Experience with large NASA or other USG proposals and contracts
• Knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards
• Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment, using organizational tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
