Product Designer

Job Spread connects organizations seeking to fill open roles with candidates who have the skills needed to succeed, using technology to simplify and streamline hiring. The Product Designer will create user-centered experiences for employers and candidates, collaborating cross-functionally on product requirements, research, interface design, usability validation, and design systems across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences for employers and candidates
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to shape product requirements, create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces, and iterate based on feedback and data
• Conducting user research, synthesizing insights, applying design thinking principles, and refining the product experience across web and mobile platforms
• Partner closely with UX research to validate concepts, run usability tests, and ensure designs align with user needs and business goals
• Contribute to maintaining design systems and documentation, promoting consistency, and helping evolve Job Spread’s overall product vision

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Product Design and Design Thinking, with the ability to translate complex problems into clear, user-centered solutions
• Experience with User Research and UX Research, including gathering insights, synthesizing findings, and applying them to product decisions
• Proficiency in Visual Design, including layout, typography, color, and component-based design for digital products
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional remote teams, communicate clearly, and present design decisions with rationale
• Hands-on experience with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with design systems
• Understanding of UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design across devices
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Relevant experience designing digital products, ideally within recruitment, HR tech, or marketplaces (preferred but not required)
