P&C Project Manager

Vector Power is seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple electrical power projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area from initiation through completion. The role oversees planning, client coordination, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, project performance, technical field support, and field activities as required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and facilitate the implementation of projects in accordance with project scope, deliverables, and goals
• Set expectations and hold employees accountable for assigned tasks and milestone goals
• Define project tasks and resource requirements in the development of full-scale project plans
• Assemble, coordinate, and provide directions to project staff
• Manage project budget and resource allocation
• Communicate with clients on project deliverables, schedules, and scope of work
• Track and report on project deliverables to management
• Provide direction and support to project teams
• Maintain the highest level of quality assurance and safety
• Consistently monitor and report on progress of project to all stakeholders defining project progress, problems, and solutions
• Complete Project evaluations and assessment of results at project close out
• Significant field work and oversight in the field may be require

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technologist diploma, or equivalent experience
• Project management or project lead experience
• Candidates with broader electrical power systems experience, including substations, electrical testing, commissioning, and related utility infrastructure projects, will also be considered
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Strong commitment to client service
• Ability to travel as required
• You must hold a valid driver's license and not require high-risk insurance or have provisional driving restrictions
• Candidates must currently reside in the DFW metropolitan area or be willing to relocate
• Periodic field assignments and travel may be required to support project execution, commissioning activities, or operational requirements
• Strong experience in high voltage utility substations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems is highly preferred
