Senior Software Engineer

Blue Agilis helps healthcare organizations and hospitals achieve operational goals through Generative AI solutions. The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own projects from concept through deployment, design scalable applications, contribute to architecture and technical decisions, and use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications
• Own projects from initial concept through deployment and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business and technical challenges
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality
• Review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code
• Contribute to application architecture and technical decision-making
• Participate in team collaboration and occasional in-person planning sessions

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with:
• TypeScript
• React
• MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience designing and delivering production applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly define and solve problems
• Experience working in startup or high-growth environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Active contributor to open-source projects, side projects, or entrepreneurial ventures
• Experience using AI coding platforms such as:
• Claude Code
• OpenAI Codex
• Similar AI-assisted development tools
• Experience developing Generative AI applications
• Experience building products in healthcare technology environments
• Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and system design
