The Health Business Intelligence Engineer I develops and maintains data pipelines, curated datasets, dashboards, reports, and automated workflows while partnering with stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics assets using Tableau and Power BI
• Build and support trusted data products, curated datasets, and business-ready data models within Snowflake and Trino
• Develop and enhance automated data workflows and pipelines using tools such as Alteryx, Apache NiFi, and other approved technologies
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data and reporting solutions
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data products, reporting assets, and automated processes through testing and validation
• Document technical solutions, business logic, data lineage, and operational procedures using established governance and knowledge management tools
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production support activities
• Continuously expand technical and analytical skills while contributing to team standards, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, or a related technical field
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• 1+ years of experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries
• 1+ years of experience working with relational database and large data sets
• 1+ years of experience developing reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering
• Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms
• Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with Alteryx, Apache NiFi, or similar workflow automation platforms
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI
• Experience working with python and building BI solutions using Streamlit
• Experience documenting technical solutions and data assets in Confluence or similar platforms
• Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional teams
• Experience working with healthcare data
