Senior Product Designer, Growth

Tilt develops mobile-first financial products and machine learning-powered credit models designed to expand access to fair credit. The Senior Product Designer, Growth will own complex product experiences across areas such as Cash Advance and Credit Cards, taking designs from concept through launch and iteration. The role focuses on UX and visual design, experimentation, data-informed iteration, and close collaboration with product, engineering, and design partners.

Responsibilities:

• Own design for key initiatives from concept through launch, keeping a steady rhythm of shipping across new features, flow improvements and experiments
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear, approachable experiences, with a high bar for interaction design, visual design and overall quality
• Collaborate closely with our team of designers, combining their longer-range product thinking with your hands-on craft to shape what we build
• Design and run experiments with your product and data partners, from hypothesis through analysis, and use what you learn to shape what comes next
• Iterate on critical user experiences based on metrics, research and customer feedback, treating launch as the start of the work, not the end
• Partner with product and engineering to scope smartly, make thoughtful tradeoffs and bring people along on your decisions
• Build with and contribute to our design system, and use AI tools to transform the way we deliver user impact

Requirements:

• Significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally in fintech, financial services, commerce or another multi-stakeholder environment
• A portfolio showing strong UX thinking and polished visual and UI execution, including examples of iteration and the results your work drove
• Strong interaction design fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to keep quality high while moving with momentum
• Hands-on experience designing for A/B tests and experiments, and knowing how to structure variants to get clear, useful results
• A strong grasp of product metrics like conversion, activation, engagement and retention, and a data-informed approach that blends quantitative and qualitative signals
• You thrive in close collaboration, bring a strong point of view, and like building on others' ideas as much as sharing your own
• Clear communication, and hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day work
• Experience designing consumer financial products, including lending, banking, budgeting, payments, and more
• Experience contributing to or evolving a design system
• Experience with analytics and experimentation tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Optimizely
