We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C++ Developer with a strong background in security-focused software engineering. This role will focus on preparing enterprise applications and systems for post-quantum cryptography and strengthening security capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-level security engineering, PKI infrastructure, cryptographic implementations, and C++ development on RHEL/Unix environments.
Develop and harden client applications for post-quantum technology readiness.
Perform security-focused C++ development on RHEL/Unix systems.
Develop Shell scripts and Python automation for security workflows.
Collaborate with technical leads on solution design for medium-to-complex security tasks.
Analyze technical requirements and independently deliver secure, high-quality code.
Work with PKI infrastructure, cryptographic implementations, and security technologies.
Contribute to enterprise security initiatives and post-quantum readiness.
Senior-level experience with C++.
Strong experience with RHEL / Unix environments.
Hands-on Shell scripting experience.
Hands-on Python scripting/automation experience.
Experience with PKI and cryptographic concepts.
Understanding of public/private keys, keystores, encryption, and decryption.
Awareness of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and NIST PQC standards.
Java development or strong Java familiarity.
Experience with enterprise security applications.
Experience with cryptographic libraries or security infrastructure.
Must be local to the Manassas, VA area.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
