Content Operations Project Manager

Avacend Inc is seeking a Content Operations Project Manager to support a Networking campaign content team. The role maintains content repositories, campaign materials, calendars, and reporting, while coordinating projects and improving workflows using AI and project management tools.

Responsibilities:

• Content Repository Maintenance: Maintain the Networking content repository in Airtable, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistent taxonomy
• AI-First Mindset: Proactively use AI as a core component of their everyday work and harness AI to drive continuous process innovation
• Bill of Materials (BOM) Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing accuracy of Networking BOMs within content strategy decks, adhering to a bi-weekly or monthly update cadence and proactively flagging gaps or conflicts
• Workfront Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for project setup, task management, and report generation in Workfront, ensuring everything is current and accessible
• Blog Reporting and Calendars: Execute quarterly blog channel reporting and performance reporting for Tier 1 and 2 product launches. Maintain the Networking blog calendar in coordination with the Web team to align with campaign and product launch schedules
• Third-party Project Coordination: Drive project timelines and deliverables for projects involving with external parties, to ensure all milestones are met and communication remains clear and consistent across the project lifecycle
• Document Repository Maintenance: Optimize and maintain the team’s SharePoint folder, ensuring it’s up-to-date with the latest messaging and other key documents
• Editorial Guide Stewardship: Keep our team’s editorial guide, which collects “say this, not that” insights and keeps links to current messaging documents all in one place, fresh with regular updates
• Operational Communication: Maintain a weekly status update cadence with the Content Strategist and attend weekly Networking campaign team meetings to stay aligned on shifting priorities

Requirements:

• Ability to manage projects end-to-end with guided independence, providing clear recommendations and rationale for operational decisions
• Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities, with strong critical thinking and a "solution-first" mindset when issues arise
• Advanced capabilities in project management software (Workfront) and data organization tools (Airtable)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
• 3-5 years' experience with project management at a tech company, marketing agency, or related experience
• Working effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication skills
