M365 Admin/ Engineer

Flexon Technologies is seeking an M365 Admin / Engineer to provide advanced technical diagnostics, validation, testing, documentation, and deployment support for Microsoft 365 Copilot and related productivity AI capabilities. The role supports approved integrations and deployments, troubleshoots Microsoft 365 search and grounding issues, and develops technical runbooks, scripts, and handoff materials within the engagement scope.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical integration lifecycle for approved third-party productivity AI products connecting to Microsoft 365 services, from interface and dependency assessment through configuration, testing and handoff, with documented identity, permissions, data-access, security, supportability and operational requirements
• Serve as an advanced technical subject-matter resource for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Microsoft 365 search, Microsoft Graph grounding and related productivity AI capabilities within the assigned deployment scope
• Diagnose complex issues involving licensing, identity, permissions, content access, search indexing, grounding behavior, application context, tenant configuration and user experience
• Develop repeatable diagnostic methods, test plans, health checks, escalation packages, known-issue records and technical runbooks
• Maintain the technical roadmap for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Microsoft 365 search, Microsoft Graph-grounded experiences and approved productivity AI integrations within the assigned scope
• Support Microsoft and internal platform-team escalations with clear reproduction steps, evidence, root-cause hypotheses and documented outcomes
• Validate assigned deployment waves, pilots, new capabilities and proposed configuration changes against approved architecture, security, privacy, supportability and operational-readiness requirements
• Test grounded responses and search behavior, distinguishing platform, permission, indexing, retrieval, content-quality and user-behavior causes
• Provide technical feasibility and supportability findings, including licensing dependencies, integration boundaries, implementation risks and handoff needs
• Support build-to-run transition by documenting support procedures, monitoring needs, known limitations, escalation paths and ownership boundaries
• Create approved scripts, reports and diagnostic utilities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and supported administrative interfaces
• Design, configure, test and document approved Copilot skills, declarative agents or lightweight agents limited to internal team operations

Requirements:

• Four or more years of related IT experience, including significant Microsoft 365, enterprise SaaS, productivity, collaboration or support experience
• Hands-on administration and support knowledge across Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Apps, Entra ID and Microsoft Purview concepts
• Deep troubleshooting skill across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Microsoft Graph, enterprise search, grounding, permissions, identity, licensing and support diagnostics
• Practical experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs, reporting, logging, technical testing, root-cause analysis and technical documentation
• Working knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, request, change, service transition and escalation practices
• Ability to translate complex findings into clear guidance for support teams, content owners, business stakeholders, governance partners and leaders
• Experience with approved Copilot skills, declarative agents, prompts, knowledge sources, permissions, test cases and human-review controls
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure, Security, Power Platform, ITIL or AI-related certification
• Experience supporting enterprise Copilot deployments, Microsoft 365 search, SharePoint permissions or Microsoft Graph-grounded solutions
