Business Analyst

Polaris Advisors partners with hospitals and health systems to simplify healthcare IT and support organizational transformation. The Business Analyst will support healthcare business and technology initiatives by gathering and translating requirements, analyzing workflows, supporting Cheers and campaign-related solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams through delivery and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, and priorities
• Translate business requirements into clear technical and functional specifications
• Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions
• Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Work with teams on Cheers and campaign-related initiatives, including requirements, workflows, configuration, testing, and support
• Develop and maintain business process documentation and requirements documentation
• Participate in user acceptance testing and assist with issue identification and resolution
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors throughout project delivery
• Track project requirements, dependencies, risks, and issues
• Provide ongoing production support and troubleshoot business-related issues as needed

Requirements:

• • Proven experience as a Business Analyst , preferably within a healthcare or healthcare IT environment
• • Hands-on experience with Cheers and campaigns
• • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
• • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements
• • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• • Experience with testing, validation, and implementation of business solutions
• • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• • Experience working with healthcare organizations or healthcare technology
• • Experience with EHR-related workflows and applications
• • Experience supporting campaign-related workflows and initiatives
• • Experience with process improvement and workflow analysis
• • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery practices
