Technical Product Marketing Manager

ClosedWon Talent is a sales and go-to-market recruiting agency specializing in fast-growing startups. Its client is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to create technical content and assets, support product launches, enable sales, develop customer proof points, and communicate with engineering audiences through demos, webinars, videos, and events.

Responsibilities:

• Most of your time will go toward creating technical content and assets for customers and the broader engineering audience, including demos, demo environments, technical blogs, architecture explainers, walkthroughs, and best-practice guides
• The rest will go toward supporting product launches from messaging through rollout, building enablement materials that help the sales team sell (battlecards, objection handling, demo guidance, and one-pagers), turning customer stories into case studies and proof points, and keeping an eye on the competitive landscape
• You'll work closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to get in front of audiences through webinars, videos, and live demos at events

Requirements:

• Roughly 3–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role at a technology company, such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical account management, developer relations, or client-facing product management
• Hands-on experience demoing a technical software product to customers or prospects
• the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Genuine curiosity about how products work
• a willingness to learn by getting your hands dirty in the product
• A real interest in creating content, presenting, and educating audiences
• a desire to move toward marketing as the next step in your career
• Strong writing and project management skills
• Experience with developer tools, DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity
• Prior exposure to product marketing, product launches, sales enablement, or customer marketing, although this isn't required and the hiring manager is happy to teach it
• Experience as a developer advocate, evangelist, or technical CSM focused on customer education and advocacy
• A track record of creating content such as demo videos, how-to guides, webinars, or conference presentations
• That instinct for knowing what a customer needs to see before the sales conversation even starts
