Business System Analyst - Epic Contract Build

Sentara Health is a healthcare organization seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize Epic Contract Build workflows. The role gathers and documents requirements, develops system specifications, coordinates with stakeholders and IT teams, troubleshoots issues, and supports testing, implementation, training, and system enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Develop detailed requirements, workflows, and use cases for system enhancement projects
• Support and maintain Epic Contract Build workflows and configurations
• Coordinate with IT teams and operational stakeholders to create or update system solutions
• Analyze and troubleshoot application or technology issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Assist with project coordination, product support, testing, and implementation activities
• Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, tip sheets, and technical specifications
• Provide end-user support and training as needed
• Research emerging technologies and process improvement opportunities to enhance business operations
• Participate in ongoing optimization efforts and support system enhancements

Requirements:

• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience
• Minimum 2 years of Experience with Epic Contract Build workflows and configuration required
• Experience gathering requirements, performing system analysis, and supporting business applications
• Experience working with healthcare workflows and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience supporting healthcare applications or Epic environments
• Experience with testing, implementation, and end-user training
• Epic certification in Reimbursement Contracts preferred (Preferred)
