Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering Full-Time Employee - Recent Grad 2027

Honeywell Aerospace is an aviation technology company developing systems and solutions for aircraft and aerospace applications. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, test, and integrate aircraft components and systems while contributing to aviation technology improvements. This full-time opportunity is intended for recent graduates in mechanical, aeronautical, or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop aircraft components and systems
• Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize aircraft performance
• Perform tests and experiments to validate designs and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and components
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerospace technology and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in (ex. Software Engineering) or similar field
• • Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2026 and May 2027 and be available to begin full-time work between September 2026-July 2027
• • Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the start date
• Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
• • Motivated to drive improvements in a substantial environment
• • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
• • Individuals who are results-oriented and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or necessary to by events
• • Ability to easily and effectively balance many priorities and results-oriented demands
• • Confirmed experience with design tools for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, etc.)
