Assistant Auto Insurance Product Manager

GEICO is an auto insurance company seeking an Assistant Auto Insurance Product Manager to support its Commercial Auto Product Management Team. The role focuses on identifying product opportunities, translating business needs into solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams, monitoring product performance, and supporting product launches and improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and customer experiences through data analysis and stakeholder feedback
• Gather business requirements and translate complex problems into clear and actionable product solutions
• Research, develop, and prioritize product enhancements that align with business objectives
• Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Monitor product performance and leverage key metrics to measure business outcomes and identify future opportunities
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products and initiatives
• Support product launches, process improvements, stakeholder communications, and training efforts
• Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership and cross-functional partners

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• • 3+ years of experience in insurance, product management, business analysis, or a related field
• • Experience within the auto insurance industry required
• • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• • Experience translating business needs into product requirements and actionable solutions
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing competing priorities
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
• • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Commercial Auto experience preferred
• • Experience identifying and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• • Experience using data to measure product performance and business impact
• • Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Python, R, SAS, SQL, or similar platforms
