Sr. Product Manager

Astrana Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver technology solutions that improve the healthcare experience for providers, patients, and payers. The role leads product discovery, translates user needs into product requirements, and partners with Engineering and stakeholders to manage the roadmap, development, testing, and adoption of product capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product discovery efforts by engaging directly with end users to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize user feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions
• Create clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for Engineering teams
• Partner closely with Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, and release management
• Manage product backlogs and workflows using Jira and other Agile product management tools
• Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring product functionality meets business and user requirements prior to release
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new product capabilities
• Maintain a high standard of quality, organization, and attention to detail across all phases of the product lifecycle

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience building and launching software products
• Experience building products for healthcare end-users, ideally serving providers, patients, payers, or healthcare operations teams
• Experience operating in a startup or high-growth environment where resourcefulness, ownership, and speed are critical
• Demonstrated expertise in user discovery and user research, including conducting interviews, workflow observations, usability testing, and continuous feedback loops with end-users
• Proven ability to translate user needs into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and actionable engineering priorities
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and release execution
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard for quality, usability, and product execution
• Hands-on experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), quality assurance validation, and release readiness activities to ensure products function as intended before deployment
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining visibility into timelines, dependencies, and risks
• Strong preference for candidates with payer-side product experience, including health plan, health insurance, care management, claims, utilization management, provider network, or member-facing technologies
• Experience with value-based care, population health, risk adjustment, quality programs, care management, or healthcare operations
• Experience building products used by physicians, nurses, care coordinators, health plan operations teams, provider organizations, or patients
• Familiarity with EHR platforms and healthcare integrations
• Technical background in software development, data products, or analytics platforms
• Experience building products in highly regulated healthcare environments
