You will be the Design Engineer / Checker - Level 3 for the Build to Package Verification Process and Compliance team which is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and compliance of F‑35 engineering designs and 3‑D models.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Design Engineer / Checker - Level 3 you will be responsible for acting as a critical quality gate, reviewing designs, applying GD&T, and validating models before they move downstream.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/ combined education considered, with 2 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of engineering design checking or engineering design or quality assurance experience with a strong CAD focus, preferably on advanced fighter aircraft programs.
- Proficient user of Siemens’ NX CAD system.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a model centric environment and perform model based verification.
- Proficient with PC operations, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and PLM tools.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
