What You’ll DO:

As a Pilates Instructor, you'll do more than teach classes, you'll create an experience that keeps members engaged, motivated, and coming back for more.

Deliver Exceptional Pilates Experiences

• Lead safe, effective, and engaging Pilates classes that improve strength, mobility, flexibility, posture, and overall wellness.
• Provide expert coaching, exercise modifications, and technique corrections to support members of all fitness levels and abilities.
• Create motivating and results-driven workouts that help members achieve their personal goals.

Bring the Edge Pilates Experience to Life

• Welcome members by name and create meaningful connections before, during, and after class.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive studio environment where every member feels seen, valued, and successful.
• Recognize member milestones, celebrate progress, and encourage consistency throughout their fitness journey.

Coach with Purpose

• Conduct client assessments and provide personal recommendations to help members maximize results.
• Educate members on Pilates principles, movement quality, and the benefits of consistent practice.
• Prioritize safety while delivering an exceptional member experience every class.

Grow the Community

• Be an ambassador for The Edge Pilates program by promoting classes, workshops, events, and services through your community and social media.
• Drive participation, retention, and member satisfaction through authentic relationships and outstanding instruction.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors, fitness leaders, and club teams to create a thriving studio culture.

Class Formats

 

Mat Pilates Instructor

Lead dynamic group classes focused on core strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and total-body conditioning. Create an energizing and welcoming environment that helps members build confidence and movement mastery.

Small Group Reformer Pilates Instructor

Lead small-group Reformer Pilates sessions while providing individualized coaching, equipment instruction, and personalized modifications. Deliver a premium training experience that prioritizes safety, progression, and results.

• Lead safe, effective, and engaging Pilates classes and training sessions that support client goals, proper technique, and overall wellness.
• Conduct client assessments, provide program recommendations, and deliver modifications for varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Foster a welcoming studio community through exceptional member engagement, teamwork, and professional instruction.
• Promote Pilates programs and services, support membership growth, and drive class participation, retention, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

What you’ll NEED:

• Current Pilates certification (Mat required; Reformer certification preferred/required based on programming needs) and CPR/AED certification.
• Strong communication, member engagement, and relationship-building skills with the ability to create a safe, welcoming, and professional class environment.
• Experienced Pilates instructor with knowledge of safe exercise techniques, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with basic computer and Microsoft Office applications.

Key Details:

• Work in a dynamic health club environment with members, staff, and vendors
• This is a part-time position with varied hours based on business needs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see or hear.
• This position requires the ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class.
