AMHC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Full-Time School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to join our team at the Calais Alternative School.
This position provides behavioral and clinical support to students with moderate-to-severe behavioral needs while helping create a safe, positive, and productive school environment.
The BHP serves as a role model, behavioral support, consultant, and clinical resource to students and school staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and using evidence-based behavioral strategies to support student success.

This position is based in a school setting, where noise levels may range from quiet to loud. The role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing, as well as use of standard office equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Requirements
· This position requires a bachelor's degree in human services related field.
· Experience with the behavioral management program is preferred.
· Certifications in MANDT, First Aid, CPR, and Behavioral Health Professional certification are required.
