Staff Software Development Engineer

The Staff Software Development Engineer designs, builds, and supports secure, scalable enterprise workloads on cloud platforms, partnering with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to enable application modernization and data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Staff Software Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise workloads on cloud platforms
• This role focuses on hands on engineering across infrastructure, automation, and operations to ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and production ready
• The engineer partners closely with Cloud Enablement, security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver standardized cloud capabilities that support enterprise application modernization and data platforms

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
• 5+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices and spring boot framework /REST
• 5+ years of experience Cloud Technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and Knowledge of open-source packages especially those provided by Apache, Google, and Spring
• 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
• Experience supporting early stage enterprise cloud platforms
• Experience with container platforms (Ex. OpenShift, AKS, GKE)
• Experience supporting application modernization or cloud migration initiatives
