Product Development Manager

Granata Bio is a biotechnology company developing therapeutic solutions to transform the IVF medication landscape. The Product Development Manager owns integrated planning and execution for assigned drug development programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, budgets, vendors, timelines, and regulatory submission activities.

Responsibilities:

• Own integrated development plans for one or more assigned programs, translating approved clinical, regulatory, CMC, nonclinical, quality, and commercial strategies into executable workplans
• Maintain detailed timelines, milestones, budgets, dependencies, decision points, and status reporting
• Lead day-to-day program execution and ensure functional owners understand deliverables, timing, and interdependencies
• Monitor progress against development goals and adjust plans as priorities or program needs evolve
• Lead cross-functional program team meetings and governance forums; set agendas, facilitate decisions, and ensure actions are completed
• Build alignment across functions, resolve execution issues within the role’s authority, and escalate cross-program or high-stakes matters
• Prepare concise program updates and recommendations for leadership
• Own program risk, issue, decision, and action logs and ensure mitigation plans have clear owners and timelines
• Identify program trade-offs, develop practical recommendations, and drive follow-through on agreed decisions
• Track program spend and manage forecast in partnership with Finance and functional owners; identify and escalate variances early
• Provide day-to-day oversight of external partners, coordinating scopes of work, timelines, deliverables, and changes in resourcing as program needs evolve
• Monitor vendor performance for quality, compliance, timeline, and budget adherence and drive resolution of execution issues
• Manage integrated submission timelines for assigned programs, including dependencies and milestones,
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs in partnership with Regulatory, which owns regulatory strategy, submission content, and authoring

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree a plus
• • 5+ years of experience in clinical-stage project or program management or related role in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences
• • Demonstrated ability to own integrated plans, lead cross-functional teams, and drive programs from planning through execution
• • Working knowledge of clinical trial operations, regulatory pathways, CMC, nonclinical, and quality activities within drug development
• • Experience with vendor oversight, budget ownership, forecasting, and variance management; risk management, program governance, and project management tools
• • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear plans and recommendations
• • Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
• • Proactive, collaborative, hands-on working style and comfort operating in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment
• • Interest or experience in women's health, fertility, or reproductive medicine is a plus
