Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Center's

The employer is a leading data center owner, operator, and developer. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will support the design, optimization, and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects by developing engineering standards, evaluating technologies, and ensuring mechanical systems perform reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of mechanical engineering standards and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies, products, and solutions to improve facility performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering standards with operational requirements
• Review and validate maintenance and operational procedures related to critical infrastructure
• Conduct engineering analysis and provide recommendations related to cooling system performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Review energy, cooling, and infrastructure performance assessments prepared by consultants and vendors
• Support capacity planning, risk mitigation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives
• Assist with technical evaluations and engineering decision-making for strategic projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience within data centers, mission-critical facilities, or critical infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of critical cooling systems, redundancy concepts, and mechanical infrastructure
• Knowledge of data center industry standards and best practices
• Experience reviewing engineering analyses, technical documentation, and infrastructure performance metrics
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with engineering and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit, preferred
• FE/EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) credentials are advantageous
