Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead/Senior Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI, Android Platform APIs, AOSP, and system-level Android development.

• Experience developing Android apps available on the Google Play Store.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and Compose UI.
• Experience with Location Services, Maps, and location-based applications.
• Strong experience with Gradle, Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, Retrofit, and Room.
• Strong understanding of MVI and MVVM architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of OOP, OOD, DDD, and SOLID principles, along with Android development best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Experience developing consumer mobile applications.
• Experience building mobile applications that utilize web services, including REST, JSON, Thrift, or similar services.
• Good knowledge of Material Design.
• Thorough understanding of Agile Software Development.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence in product development.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with Android Platform APIs to control OS/device functionality.
• Experience with custom Android launchers.
• Experience with Android Management API, Device Policy Manager, Profile Management, and related device-management technologies.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin and modern Jetpack libraries.
• Strong understanding of system-level Android permissions.
• Experience with custom AOSP (Android Open Source Project) builds or privileged system application development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop applications for the Android platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and fix application bugs and technical issues.
• Help maintain code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop solutions to address complex technical problems.
• Share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design reviews, code reviews, and show-and-tell sessions.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas related to technology, algorithms, architecture, and products.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Education:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
