Senior Project Manager / Client Delivery Lead Rex Black Inc. | Remote

Rex Black Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Client Delivery Lead to own client relationships and manage delivery across custom software, web and digital, and QA/testing engagements. The role is responsible for requirements discovery, scope and change management, team coordination, risk and status communication, and using AI tools for rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities:

• The client relationship: you are the trusted point of contact, from first discovery call through launch and beyond
• Day-to-day delivery across a mixed portfolio of custom builds, web projects, and QA/testing engagements
• Discovery and requirements: host client meetings and turn conversations into clear, documented scope
• Scope and change management: track scope tightly, catch creep early, and keep budgets and timelines honest
• Direction and alignment: keep developers, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers unblocked and pointed the same way
• Rapid prototyping with AI: use AI tools to mock up ideas, draft flows, and pressure-test direction before we build
• Risk and status: spot problems early, communicate clearly, and keep everyone ahead of surprises

Requirements:

• 4+ years managing software, web, or QA/testing projects, with real client ownership
• Exceptional client-facing communication; clients trust you and want you in the room
• A builder's instinct: you use AI to prototype, document, and accelerate, not just to fill in forms
• Ability to turn ambiguity into concrete requirements, plans, and next steps
• Rigorous about scope, timelines, and follow-through; nothing falls through the cracks
• Comfortable coordinating across developers, QA engineers, and designers (you do not need to code)
• Solid grasp of the software delivery lifecycle, including testing and quality gates
• Experience with tools like Jira, Asana, Linear, ClickUp, and modern AI tools
• Bonus: QA/test management background, or Drupal, WordPress, or Shopify experience
