Clinical Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to support a client in the clinical research industry. The role manages global Phase I-III clinical trials, oversees budgets and financial performance, coordinates sponsors and vendors, and mitigates study risks from start-up through closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee Phase I-III clinical trials from study start-up through closeout, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are achieved
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while driving operational success across global study teams
• Manage study budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring projects remain within scope and aligned with contractual obligations
• Lead bid defense meetings and support business development initiatives by contributing operational expertise and strategic planning
• Identify and mitigate study risks, monitor project performance metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
• • 4+ years of clinical trial management experience within a CRO environment
• • Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and experience overseeing Phase I-III studies, preferably large global trials
• • Experience participating in bid defenses and supporting business development management activities
• • Proven ability to manage financial oversight, study budgets, and project forecasting
