Client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support statewide portfolio reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics for the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE) Investment Management program.
DTMB administers the Information Technology Investment Fund (ITIF), a legislative appropriation that provides funding for critical information technology modernization, cybersecurity, innovation, and infrastructure initiatives across State of Michigan agencies. Given the size, visibility, and complexity of these investments, DTMB requires timely, accurate, and actionable reporting to support executive oversight, portfolio governance, and informed investment decision-making.

The resource will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions that enable effective portfolio governance and performance management.
Working collaboratively with executive leadership, portfolio managers, project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, the Senior Data Engineer will transform data from multiple enterprise systems into actionable business intelligence supporting investment management, project oversight, risk identification, compliance monitoring, and executive decision-making.
While the primary focus of this position will be supporting ITIF-funded initiatives, the resource may also develop reporting and analytical capabilities supporting the broader statewide IT portfolio, Project Portfolio Management (PPM) environment, and SUITE Investment Management processes.
