Senior Electrical Engineer - SCCAF - Data Centers

Olsson is an engineering and design firm that develops solutions to improve the world around us while fostering a people-centric and collaborative culture. The Senior Electrical Engineer will support data center and other mission-critical projects by performing electrical engineering, design calculations, technical reporting, short circuit analysis, and arc flash studies, while coordinating with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work directly with some of the world’s largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients
• You will serve as an electrical engineer on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents
• Experience in performing short circuit analysis and producing arc flash studies is required
• You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients
• You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Ability to be a self-starter to take on a variety of tasks to best serve the client and their project work
• Investigation and troubleshooting of problems to find solutions
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 8+ years or related electrical engineering experience
• Experience with Short Circuit Coordination and Arc Flash Study (SCCAF)
• Registered professional engineer (PE) required
• SKM and ETAP software experience is preferred
