Software Engineer, Security, Stablecoin

Ramp is a fintech company building financial infrastructure for payments, money movement, and treasury management. The Software Engineer will own and scale stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems, secure external integrations, and help integrate stablecoin capabilities into Ramp’s core products.

Responsibilities:

• Help build & scale Ramp’s stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure
• Partner with external providers and internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product flows
• Solve Ramp’s toughest fintech challenges with new technologies
• Collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products

Requirements:

• • Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure
• • Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
• • Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• • Experience working on security-sensitive systems, with interest in key management, wallet security, or secure transaction flows
• • Experience building or operating payments, money movement, treasury, stablecoin, or crypto infrastructure in production environments
• • Minimum 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems preferred
• • Intuition for on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet-based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain-level tradeoffs like fees and latency
• • Direct experience building on-chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows
• • Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale
• • Familiarity with cross-border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems
• • Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government-compliant infrastructure)
