Role: Product Owner
Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid from Day 1
Employment Type: C2C Only
Pay Rate: $65/hr

We are looking for a strong Product Owner with hands-on experience in the P&C Insurance domain, particularly across areas such as underwriting, policy administration, pricing, rating, claims, insurance analytics, and data platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience leading data modernization, data migration, cloud transformation, and enterprise analytics initiatives.

Key Requirements

• 12–20 years of overall experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role within the Insurance industry.
• Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience is mandatory.
• Experience with underwriting, policy administration, pricing, rating, claims, or insurance analytics.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data modernization, data migration, cloud transformation, or enterprise data platform initiatives.
• Experience delivering data, reporting, BI, and analytics solutions within the insurance domain.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including product roadmap, backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and release planning.
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Cloud, Analytics, and Technology teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development plans.
• Experience with UAT, solution validation, release management, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for insurance data, pricing, and analytics platforms.
• Partner with business, underwriting, operations, and technology teams to gather and define requirements.
• Lead delivery of pricing, rating, profitability, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Drive large-scale data modernization, migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work with data engineering, cloud, and analytics teams to deliver scalable and governed data platforms.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, stakeholder workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Lead UAT, release execution, and solution validation activities.
• Define success metrics and drive continuous improvement based on business outcomes.
