We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Labor Collections Specialist to support the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of labor collection processes within SAP ECC. This role will focus on time and labor data collection, employee time entry, labor reporting, payroll integration, and related business processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC labor/time management processes and the ability to work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate and efficient labor data collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain SAP ECC Labor Collection / Time Management processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
Configure and support SAP ECC functionality related to:
- Employee time entry and labor collection
- Time recording and attendance
- Work schedules and shifts
- Overtime and premium time
- Absence and leave tracking
- Labor allocation and cost center assignments
- Time evaluation and approval workflows
Support integration between SAP ECC and Payroll, Controlling (CO), Financial Accounting (FI), and other related modules.
Troubleshoot labor collection and time-management issues, including data discrepancies, interface errors, and employee time-entry problems.
Work with business users to identify process improvements and optimize labor collection workflows.
Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and system modifications.
Partner with technical teams on ABAP development, interfaces, batch jobs, and system enhancements.
Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Assist with SAP ECC upgrades, patches, enhancements, and implementation projects.
Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, configuration documentation, and user procedures.
Provide training and support to end users and business stakeholders.
Ensure labor data is accurate, timely, and properly reflected in downstream payroll and financial processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC.
Strong functional experience with SAP Time Management / Labor Collection processes.
Experience working with employee time, attendance, labor, or workforce management processes.
Understanding of integration between SAP Time Management and Payroll, FI/CO, and HR/HCM.
Experience with SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop functional specifications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP ECC HCM/HR modules.
Knowledge of SAP Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
Experience with SAP Payroll integration and time evaluation.
Experience integrating SAP ECC with external time clocks, workforce management, or labor collection systems.
Familiarity with SAP interfaces, IDocs, middleware, and integration technologies.
Knowledge of SAP Controlling, including cost centers, internal orders, activity types, and labor costing.
Experience supporting manufacturing, field service, construction, utilities, or other labor-intensive environments.
SAP certification is a plus.
Experience working in an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation environment is desirable.
