Job Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team and lead high-risk, complex data solutions that enable a large-scale supply chain transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data architecture, data integration, metadata and data modeling, and business intelligence and a proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms, mentor teams, and drive deployment readiness across cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of critical data solutions in high-complexity environments.


• Design enterprise data architectures, integration layers, and data delivery frameworks aligned to enterprise strategies.


• Elicit, review, and validate data requirements including ETL/EAI/web services, metadata, and conceptual/logical/physical models.


• Lead resolution of critical data issues and ensure integration of data engineering deliverables with broader project outcomes.


• Collaborate with Program/Project Managers, Architects, and Infrastructure teams to plan, estimate, and deliver data components.


• Drive deployment readiness for services supply chain and finished goods returns workstreams, including checklists, risks, and dependencies.


• Partner with business, operations, and external stakeholders to prepare processes, people, and training plans for go-live.


• Mentor data engineering team members and contribute to communities of practice, best practices, and knowledge assets.


• Contribute to solutioning for large, complex deals and lead data and information management presentations to clients.


• Develop white papers or conference presentations and provide leadership on data engineering principles and methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in data architecture, data integration (ETL/EAI/web services), metadata management, and data modeling.


• Proficiency with SQL and one or more data engineering languages or platforms.


• Proven experience leading complex data initiatives and resolving critical production issues.


• Strong stakeholder management across business, operations, and IT with experience in deployment readiness and cutover planning.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical content to executive and client audiences.


• Experience level: 10+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or closely related roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with supply chain data domains and deployment in enterprise environments.


• Background in developing enterprise data models and collaborating with enterprise architecture functions.
