Job Responsibilities and Qualifications for Automation ETL tester/ Data Tester:

Design, develop, and execute test strategies and test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.
Validate data movement from source systems through staging, transformation, and target data platforms.
Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
Validate data transformations, mappings, business rules, calculations, aggregations, and data conversions.
Develop complex SQL queries to validate data across multiple databases and data sources.
5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Testing or Data Quality Testing.
Strong experience with SQL and database testing.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehouse architecture.
Hands-on experience with source-to-target data validation.
Experience testing data transformations, mappings, business rules, and complex data flows.
Experience with test automation and development of automated data validation scripts.
