Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in ELT pipeline development, dbt, SQL, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using Snowflake and dbt, while following CICD and Git-based development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ELT data pipelines using Snowflake.
Develop scalable and efficient SQL transformations within Snowflake.
Build and maintain data models using dbt (data build tool).
Create dbt models, tests, macros, snapshots, and incremental pipelines.
Implement data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse usage, and data processing performance.
Develop reusable and modular data transformation frameworks.
Integrate data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Implement CICD pipelines for data engineering and dbt deployments.
Use GitLab for source control, branching, merge requests, and code reviews.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes using DevOps practices.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data issues, and production incidents.
Work with data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards.

Strong experience with Snowflake
Advanced SQL
Hands-on experience developing ELT pipelines
Strong dbt development experience

Data modeling and transformation
Snowflake performance tuning and optimization
