Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Nexacode is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test and validate AI-powered applications, machine learning models, and data pipelines. The role focuses on creating test plans, evaluating model accuracy, building automated testing scripts, and ensuring the quality and performance of AI products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, regression, and performance test plans for AI/ML features
• Validate ML model outputs, testing for accuracy, edge cases, data drift, and unexpected responses
• Build and maintain test automation scripts using Python to validate APIs and backend services
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Developers to identify bugs, report defects, and improve model quality
• Perform data validation to ensure training and input datasets are clean and accurate

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) and test automation
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and model testing techniques
• Hands-on experience with Python and API testing tools (Postman, REST APIs)
• Strong proficiency with SQL for data verification and database querying
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, and defect management tools (Jira)
