Software Engineer (New Grad)

Yara is building the future of finding work through work-focused profiles, smart matching, and personalized human support. The role is for a new graduate software engineer who will demonstrate shipped projects, contribute to AI-powered applications, and be matched with early-stage companies where they can build and deploy production software quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Apply and submit your portfolio or relevant work
• We make your Yara and review your background against roles across our network
• If we see a fit, we schedule a call to learn about your work, what you're looking for, and where you'd actually thrive
• We put you forward for the right roles and stay with you through the process
• Own a real surface, sit near the founders, and find out quickly whether what you built worked

Requirements:

• A CS degree, a bootcamp with real projects, or no degree and a body of work that speaks for itself
• Working TypeScript, Python, or Go, plus something you deployed and then maintained
• Internships, open-source contributions, or hackathon wins, all of which count as proof here
• LLM-powered side projects that go past a chat wrapper: tool-calling, agents, evals
• You're graduating this year, or you finished within the last 18 months
• Your GitHub is the strongest thing you have, and you want someone to actually read it
• You've built something people used: a tool, a bot, a site, a game, an agent
• You learn by shipping, and you already build with AI tools every day
• Energy for work-trial interviews: build for a day or two, get a real answer
• You'd rather be the third engineer somewhere real than the 300th in a grad program
