Software Engineer

Success Recruitments is hiring a Software Engineer for a large-scale enterprise technology and digital-product environment. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-based systems while contributing to architecture, reliability, security, modernization, and AI-assisted engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services used across enterprise environments
• Build reliable backend services, APIs, integrations, and customer-facing or internal product capabilities
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established engineering standards
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions for new features and services
• Diagnose complex application issues and implement sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes
• Improve application performance, scalability, availability, and operational reliability
• Develop automated unit, integration, and functional tests to maintain software quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive technical feedback
• Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and modern deployment environments
• Partner with Product, Design, Quality Engineering, Data, Security, and Platform teams throughout the software-development lifecycle
• Contribute to modernization of existing applications and reduction of meaningful technical debt
• Evaluate appropriate uses of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting workflows
• Support modernization of enterprise applications and technology platforms
• Contribute technical input to product and architecture roadmaps
• Help improve engineering productivity through automation and reusable development capabilities
• Support cloud adoption and application modernization initiatives
• Contribute to application security, reliability, and scalability improvements
• Help evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities for practical product and engineering use
• Participate in technical initiatives that improve long-term platform maintainability

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• • Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C++, or comparable technologies
• • Experience developing APIs, services, web applications, or distributed software systems
• • Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• • Experience with Git and modern source-control practices
• • Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable cloud environments
• • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, software-design principles, and object-oriented or functional programming concepts
• • Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices
• • Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding fundamentals
• • Ability to troubleshoot software across development and production environments
• • Strong analytical and software problem-solving ability
• • High standards for code quality and technical accuracy
• • Ability to understand complex systems and break problems into manageable components
• • Product mindset with consideration for the end-user experience
• • Comfortable receiving and providing constructive technical feedback
• • Strong written communication skills suited to a distributed engineering organization
