Position Overview

This role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow development, ITSM, integrations, scripting, workflows, and platform configuration, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business
Work extensively with ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
Develop custom applications and scoped applications based on business requirements.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex ServiceNow platform issues.
Perform code reviews and ensure development follows ServiceNow best practices.
Work closely with architects, business analysts, product owners, and other development teams.
Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and implementation guides.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior ServiceNow developers when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience, with significant hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications.
Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, development standards, and best practices.
Experience developing ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience with Flow Designer and/or IntegrationHub.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
