K-12 EdTech Sales Representative / Account Executive

Greater Career Pursuits (GCP) is building a nationwide network of independent sales representatives to introduce its career-readiness system to schools, districts, and education organizations. The role focuses on prospecting K-12 institutions, conducting discovery, presenting GCP packages, managing opportunities in the CRM, and developing long-term institutional relationships through consultative B2B sales.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and prospect schools, districts, and other approved education organizations
• Open conversations with counselors, CTE/career-readiness leaders, administrators, and other relevant stakeholders
• Conduct structured discovery to understand the district's current career-readiness process and needs
• Present relevant GCP packages and demonstrations using approved materials
• Maintain opportunity records, next actions, and lead registration in GCP's CRM
• Coordinate with GCP on pricing approvals, procurement, privacy/security questions, and customer handoff
• Develop long-term institutional relationships rather than relying on one-call transactional selling

Requirements:

• We are looking for experienced independent sales professionals who already understand relationship-based B2B selling and ideally have existing access to K-12 decision-makers such as school counselors, CTE leaders, college and career readiness leaders, principals, district administrators, and superintendents
• This is not a salaried employee position. It is intended for self-directed independent representatives who are comfortable generating pipeline, managing long-cycle institutional opportunities, and earning commission on qualifying collected revenue
• • Prior K-12, EdTech, curriculum, CTE, workforce-development, college/career-readiness, or adjacent institutional sales experience
• • Existing relationships with school and district decision-makers are highly valuable
• • Documented ability to self-source opportunities and follow them through a multi-stakeholder sales cycle
• • Comfort with public-school purchasing, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, procurement, and longer budget cycles
• • Strong professional judgment: knowing when to answer, when to use approved materials, and when to escalate
• • Comfort operating independently while following account-registration, pricing, CRM, and compliance requirements
• Representatives must complete required onboarding and receive written go-live authorization before representing GCP to prospects
• We are especially interested in candidates with demonstrated U.S. K-12 institutional sales experience, existing school or district relationships, and the ability to independently develop qualified opportunities
