Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow CPQ Specialist with 12+ years of overall IT experience to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of the ServiceNow Sales and Order Management (SOM) ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical authority for deploying and optimizing the native ServiceNow CPQ module, bridging front-office sales operations with back-office order fulfillment through robust product configurators, pricing engines, and automated fulfillment workflows.

Core Responsibilities

CPQ Architecture & Implementation

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of the ServiceNow CPQ module.
• Implement and optimize CPQ Foundation and Advanced applications.
• Define scalable CPQ architecture aligned with business and operational requirements.
• Drive CPQ implementation best practices across the ServiceNow platform.

Product Modeling & Configuration

• Build and maintain complex attribute-based product catalogs.
• Develop dynamic, rules-driven product selection paths.
• Configure product attributes, constraints, dependencies, and configuration rules.
• Work with the Logik.ai configuration engine embedded within the ServiceNow Now Platform.
• Reduce product sprawl through dynamic product configuration and intelligent selection logic.

Pricing & Business Logic

• Configure matrix pricing and multi-tiered subscription structures.
• Implement bundle pricing and discounting rules.
• Develop pricing and eligibility logic based on product attributes and business requirements.
• Configure localization and market-specific pricing logic.
• Translate complex quoting policies into scalable system rules.

Workflow Automation

• Utilize ServiceNow Flow Designer to automate CPQ and order-management workflows.
• Implement Integration Hub integrations and automated business processes.
• Build quote-approval workflows and approval matrices.
• Automate e-signature processes and downstream fulfillment handoffs.
• Integrate CPQ processes with other enterprise systems.

Generative AI Integration

• Implement and optimize Now Assist for CPQ capabilities.
• Support conversational quoting and AI-assisted sales processes.
• Enable automated line-item generation and intelligent quoting workflows.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve CPQ efficiency and user experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, and other business stakeholders.
• Translate business quoting policies into technical requirements and automated system rules.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, technical discussions, and implementation activities.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for CPQ and SOM solutions.

Required Qualifications

ServiceNow Expertise

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CSM, Order Management, or Sales and Order Management (SOM).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, development, configuration, and customization.

CPQ / Configurator Experience

• Hands-on experience building attribute-based product configuration rules.
• Strong experience with pricing matrices, constraint logic, product rules, and configuration engines.
• Experience with Logik.ai, Salesforce CPQ, or Oracle BigMachines is highly transferable.
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes including product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and order fulfillment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub.
• Experience with Client Scripts and Business Rules.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications and downstream fulfillment systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Customer Service Management
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Order Management
• Prior training or certification in Logik.ai Commerce Logic Engine
