Sales Development Representative II

The Sales Development Representative II identifies and develops new business opportunities, nurtures customer relationships, and provides innovative solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• You'll identify and develop new business opportunities, nurture customer relationships, and provide innovative solutions across our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services
• Working with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage our technologies to help customers advance their research, improve healthcare outcomes, and make discoveries

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Location: Raleigh, NC - Remote. Relocation assistance is NOT provided
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant sales or business development experience in scientific/healthcare industries
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex scientific products/applications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com
• Advanced analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time as required
• Proficiency in English required; additional language skills valued
• Demonstrated experience in pipeline development and lead generation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to analyze market trends and provide competitive intelligence
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related scientific field
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms preferred
