HEALTH CARE - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

OCHIN is a nonprofit leader in health care innovation and a trusted partner to a national provider network. The Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, tests, documents, maintains, and troubleshoots reports while supporting requirements definition, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing throughout the reporting project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirement gathering, defining scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements (i.e. use cases) and relevant translation into system requirement specifications
• Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned reporting system, internally and with members or external customers
• Responsible for the execution of full reporting lifecycle from design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Develop and update technical documentation for reporting systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Health care IT is required
• Experience in a Healthcare setting, Ambulatory or Acute Care settings is preferred/required
• A current Epic certification in Cogito or Clarity
• If no certification, a minimum of two years of experience in Cogito or Clarity preferred/required
• Displayed knowledge of the language of the assigned data system and business intelligence toolset (SQL, Epic Cogito, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau)
• Experience with SQL,Business Objects, and Crystal Reports required
• Experience in working with others to identify, define and analyze end user requirements and timelines designed to meet business needs
