Senior Data Engineer

Fuze Health is a healthcare technology company that helps patients, care providers, employers, health plans, and life sciences companies connect with digital care, resources, and treatments. The Senior Data Engineer will build and maintain a scalable platform for timely, accurate operational and business data, collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts on insights, and work with DevOps on infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy new data pipelines
• Design and build data observability platforms and metrics
• Build metadata driven pipeline solutions
• Monitor and optimize data transformations
• Build third party data integrations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science
• At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering
• Experience with one or more of the major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies
• Experienced in SQL-based and python data manipulation with large datasets
• Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds
• The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions

• Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science)
• Experience with AWS and Terraform
• Experience in designing ELT/ETL workflows
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience administering/tuning Snowflake
