Controls and Governance-Business Systems Analyst - Salesforce

Zayo provides mission-critical bandwidth and communications infrastructure solutions to large enterprises and other organizations. The Business Systems Analyst will support and enhance the Sitetracker environment on the Salesforce platform by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing governed solutions for infrastructure project operations. The role will improve system efficiency, data quality, reporting, workflows, and project delivery across OSP and ISP teams.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to project management processes in Sitetracker
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and system configurations
• Collaborate with developers, administrators, and project teams to design, test, and implement solutions in Sitetracker/Salesforce
• Maintain system integrity by monitoring data quality, workflows, and integrations, resolving issues proactively
• Support ongoing enhancements by identifying opportunities for process automation, improved reporting, and system optimization
• Act as a subject matter expert on Sitetracker functionality, providing guidance, training, and documentation to end users
• Develop and maintain governance documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Partner with OSP and ISP Controls & Governance leadership to prioritize the systems roadmap and ensure alignment with broader strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role (5+ years of experience), with a focus on Salesforce-based platforms
• Hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, workflows, and reporting (required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to own an intended result, and communicate in and across teams
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail in managing day to day tasks and execution
• Proactive problem-solver who tackles challenges head-on, thrives in ambiguity, and confidently drives progress in uncertain areas with moderate supervision and guidance
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite products
• Travel as required (Less than 10% estimated) for critical meetings
• Approved to work in the United States
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization, such as OPT, TN, H1B or any other type of work visa, now or in the future
• Experience with Sitetracker is preferred
• Familiarity with project management concepts and telecom/infrastructure operations as a plus
• SQL is a plus
