API Developer

• Experience in healthcare/healthcare technology environments.

We are looking for an experienced API Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services in a healthcare technology environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable REST and SOAP APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy applications using AWS ECS and AWS Fargate.
• Implement infrastructure and deployment configurations using Terraform.
• Develop healthcare integrations using FHIR and HAPI FHIR.
• Work with JavaScript and Node.js for API and backend development.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and healthcare technology teams.
• Troubleshoot API integrations, application issues, and production defects.
• Follow coding, security, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Use GitLab for source control, CI/CD, and development workflows.
• Support integration with healthcare applications and systems.
