Seeking an Oracle Patient Accounting Application Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 application support for patient accounting and revenue-cycle operations.
The consultant will troubleshoot application and workflow issues, support user configuration, monitor key application functions, document incidents, and escalate complex issues to appropriate technical or application support teams.
Provide Tier 1 / first-call-resolution application support.
Troubleshoot patient accounting and revenue-cycle application issues.
Monitor application functions, workflows, interfaces, work queues, printing, and document management.
Conduct pre- and post-go-live system health checks.
Track KPIs, system usage, incidents, and recurring issues.
Support issue escalation and coordinate with Tier 2, technical, and vendor teams.
Maintain issue logs, trend analyses, knowledge-transfer documentation, and support records.
Assist with application readiness and sustainment activities.
Provide basic end-user technical support, including Citrix, password resets, and desktop troubleshooting.
Follow ITIL processes, SLAs, security policies, and standard operating procedures.
Maintain awareness of HIPAA and healthcare privacy/compliance requirements.
Foundational knowledge of Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC) and patient accounting/revenue-cycle workflows.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills related to Cerner/OHPAC.
Ability to document incidents, resolutions, and escalations accurately.
Experience supporting end users and working with technical/application teams.
Knowledge of Citrix, desktop applications, printing, and user access.
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare security/compliance.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize based on business impact.
Ability to identify recurring issues and support trend analysis.
