Vice-President of Project Management

Advent Pacific International imports and supplies raw materials for the textile industry, including specialty gums, binders, enzymes, salts, dyes, waxes, and other chemical inputs. The Vice-President of Project Management leads cross-functional projects supporting operational and strategic goals, overseeing portfolios involving supply chain optimization, product expansion, process improvement, and technology implementation while managing performance, risks, budgets, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Defining project scope and objectives, establishing timelines and budgets, coordinating project teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
• Monitoring project performance, managing risks and dependencies, and presenting progress updates and recommendations to executive leadership
• Mentor project managers, promote standardized methodologies, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong Project Management and Project Planning skills, including experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Candidates should possess Program Management capabilities, with a track record of managing portfolios and aligning multiple projects with strategic objectives
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Budgeting expertise to evaluate project data, optimize resources, and manage financial performance
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field is required
• an advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial materials, preferably within textiles or chemicals, is beneficial
• Proficiency with project management tools and frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid approaches) is advantageous
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities, including experience mentoring project teams, are preferred
