Senior Product Manager, Logs - Observability

Elastic is a search AI company providing cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability. The company is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead logs and logs analytics capabilities within its Observability product team, advancing the end-to-end logging lifecycle and developing modern SRE experiences. The role collaborates with Engineering, UX, Design, Sales, and Marketing while using customer feedback and engagement data to guide product evolution.

Responsibilities:

• Evolving our logs analytics capabilities, aligning at every step with organizational and company strategy
• Advancing and influencing the entire end-to-end lifecycle for logs collection, ingest, and management
• Building features that cater to the modern SRE. From integrating GenAI and Agentic workflows into the logging experience, automated SLO/SLI tracking from logs, intelligent alerting, correlating logs, metrics, and traces, and beyond
• Working closely across teams, collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design and other teams to bring top notch application monitoring experiences to our users
• Working with our Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, enablement, and feature adoption
• Tracking user engagement and feedback to inform product and feature evolution

Requirements:

• Ideally 3+ years in product management or closely related area
• Technical experience in logs analytics
• Observability and/or performance monitoring domain knowledge
• Comfort working with and converting abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working from the customer backwards
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
• Passion for industry trends, competitive landscape
• Experience working in remote, globally distributed work environment is optional but desired
• Knowledge of AI is optional but desired
