US Product Manager

Kromek Group plc is seeking a US Product Manager to own its product portfolio for the US Defence and Security market. The role combines technical sales, product demonstrations, account management, channel partner growth, bid support, business development, market intelligence, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discussions with customers, distributors, and government stakeholders on product capability, performance, and integration
• Design and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and hands-on workshops for prospective and existing clients
• Translate customer mission requirements (e.g., RIID, CBRN detection use cases) into product positioning and tailored technical solutions
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering/product development teams, feeding market and customer requirements back into the product roadmap
• Serve as a key point of contact for assigned Defence and Security clients, combining technical credibility with commercial relationship management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with technical evaluators, program managers, and procurement stakeholders
• Ensure client satisfaction by addressing technical and commercial needs promptly
• Monitor client accounts to ensure they remain profitable and aligned with business goals
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding evolving customer technical requirements
• Develop and execute account plans, using technical engagement (demos, workshops, trials) as a lead-generation and conversion tool
• Collaborate with marketing and product development to create tailored technical solutions and sales collateral
• Track and report sales performance and forecast future opportunities
• Contribute technical content to bid writing and proposal development, ensuring solutions are accurately and compellingly represented
• Support contract negotiations, particularly on technical scope, performance specifications, and delivery terms
• Help resolve technical or contractual issues arising during the sales or delivery process
• Identify new prospects within the Defence and Security sector, using technical outreach (webinars, workshops, conference demos) as an engagement channel
• Generate and qualify leads, building relationships with new technical and commercial stakeholders
• Represent Kromek at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences, running live demonstrations
• Monitor and analyze sales trends, client feedback, and competitive/technical positioning in the market
• Provide regular reports to senior management on account performance and technical engagement outcomes
• Use market and customer insight to inform product strategy and go-to-market recommendations
• Act as a technical advocate for clients within the organization
• Coordinate with customer service and engineering teams to resolve technical issues efficiently

Requirements:

• • 3-5 years of experience in product management, sales, or commercial roles
• • Experience managing B2B accounts, preferably with US Government Agencies
• • Proven success in managing product portfolios
• • Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting tools
• • Home based with frequent US travel to meet clients or attend industry events
• • Bachelor's degree in business, sciences, or a related field (preferred)
