Job Summary

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support development activities for telematics data collection ECUs and radio systems. The role will focus on C++ development, requirements management, debugging, test automation, and SIL/HIL validation within an Agile engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux, C++, ROS2, Python, HIL testing, J1939, Ethernet, Git, and Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 2 4 years of relevant embedded software development experience
• Strong programming experience with C++
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with ROS2
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Python scripting
• Knowledge of J1939 datalink communication
• Experience with Ethernet/network communication
• Experience with Git/version control
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with embedded software debugging tools
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global engineering teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C++
• Support telematics data collection ECUs and radio applications
• Participate in requirements analysis and requirements management
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Perform bug investigation, reproduction, debugging, and resolution
• Execute Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Support software integration and validation activities
• Work with J1939 and Ethernet-based communication systems
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and development activities
