IT Software Engineer

CommonSpirit Health is a nonprofit healthcare organization focused on delivering integrated health services and innovative care. The IT Software Engineer will design, configure, test, implement, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions in a cloud-hosted environment, translating business requirements into technical specifications and supporting product releases and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains robust, scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs and best practices
• Performs application design, configuration, testing, and implementation for medium to high complexity projects
• Translates business requirements into technical specifications for development or configuration build
• Leads product release management functions, including test plan development and user acceptance testing
• Manages the product lifecycle of assigned modules, including administrative tasks and enhancement requests
• Contributes to application standards, policies, procedures, and conducts peer reviews of configuration work

Requirements:

• To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in Salesforce development, demonstrated by proven proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Your excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and strong debugging skills, will enable you to translate complex business problems into elegant technical solutions
• Expertise in version control systems like Git, an understanding of CI/CD concepts, and the ability to write comprehensive unit tests are essential
• • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment Required
• • 2-4 years' experience working in IT as an Application Systems Analyst or Technical analyst type role Required
• • Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    Highly Desired: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
