Education & Program Manager

Impact Association Management is an association management company that supports medium-sized associations, nonprofit organizations, and professional societies. The Education & Program Manager will develop and manage client educational programs, conferences, meetings, seminars, webinars, and continuing education processes while coordinating speakers, committees, volunteers, and event teams. The role also supports event marketing, registration technology, meeting planning, program strategy, and client event execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage educational programs for conferences, annual meetings, seminars, and other learning events
• Manage abstract and proposal processes, including calls for submissions, review processes, and communications
• Manage speakers, including invitations, communications, biographies, disclosures, presentations, and deadlines
• Develop and maintain conference agendas, educational tracks, and session schedules, and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen and enhance existing client education programs
• Manage the conference poster process, including poster selection, presenter communications, coordination, scheduling, and preparation of final poster materials
• Coordinate, edit, proofread, and review education related conference and webinar materials, including programs, agendas, speaker biographies, educational content, and related communications
• Support webinar programming, including topic development, speaker coordination, scheduling, technology/platform coordination, and post-event activities
• Own continuing education (CE) and credentialing processes, including documentation, applications, attendance, evaluations, certificates, and reporting
• Support education and program committees and volunteer leaders as needed and as outlined within a client's scope of services
• Maintain program timelines and ensure educational deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize education/program processes across client accounts
• Standardization of meetings for accreditation purposes
• Develop and execute event marketing and communications, including content development, client mailings, and promotional materials
• Manage event registration platforms and technology, and maintain event content across websites, databases, learning systems, and other platforms
• Coordinate meeting committees, speakers, sponsors, and assigned team members while keeping client teams informed of priorities and progress
• Develop event strategies that support client goals, increase attendance and revenue, and ensure successful execution across internal and external teams
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of program management experience
• Professional meeting management experience
• Experience working with nonprofit organizations/associations
• Associate's degree
• This job also requires travel, as you will be expected to attend client events and professional development conferences throughout the year
• This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position and employees must be consistently available during Impact's core work hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm Central Time
